Since I was born, my dad has been in the kitchen (except for the actual moment I was born… he was passed out on the floor that time). I blame him for every foodie tendency I have today. We made so many different things from scratch, from sushi rolls to cookies. He would add these food combinations together that would not make an ounce of sense to me, but the finished product would taste so darn delicious. I pray you find that here – unexpected flavors, and an evident passion for food.
All around you, you’ll find aviators and aircrafts. This is sentimental because growing up, my dad would take a break from work to take me on our annual “daddy daughter trip”. These flights together began to dwindle as I got older and turned “2 cool 4 dad”. But once I turned 18, we jetted to the tattoo parlor to get matching tattoos of an airplane with our initials carved in it. Now that I’ve grown up and the initials I have married into no longer match the ones tattooed on me, I’m happy that our traditions continue to live on through this restaurant. Now, sit back and let the sensation of your taste buds take flight."
